How does the Smart Classroom System (SCS) work?

Once the keypads are pared with the receiver, you may conduct your students to have their options/answers by clicking the button on the keypads. The answer/feedback of students  are gathered almost instantly and can be easily displayed on your screen.

What can the Smart Classroom System be used for?

The system is perfect for class questionnaires, training sessions, and workshops. The system can be used to gather feedback, carry out opinion polls, test knowledge, score candidates, vote result and more.

Can SoonLink devices be used without PowerPoint?

Yes. The SoonLink system is a stand-alone version of the software that is installed and running. So you don’t have to worry no matter you are using PPT or others for your presentation.

If I need to, can I buy extra keypads?

Yes, you can buy any extra amount of keypads if you need. One receiver supports up to 2000 keypads and receivers also are compatible for larger capacity of users.

What is the expected battery life of a keypad?

With general usage the battery will last around 12-18 months.

What type of batteries and where can I buy them?

The keypads are powered by standard CR2032 round cells, cheap to buy and easy to find at other retailers as well as being available direct from us.

What is the range of the receiver?

The average range of the receiver is 100 meters. The environmental factors could impact the range. But we are quite sure that the range would satisfy your requirements generally.

What is the maximum number of keypads you can use?

This is almost unlimited. Our keypads have been used at events with upwards of 2000 delegates and receivers are compatible for larger capacity of users.

Do I need WiFi or an Internet connection?

No, our system uses a USB receiver plugged directly into the PC.

What is the warranty?

All systems have a 1 year return to base warranty.

Is the software licence annually renewable?

No, it is a permanent licence. You own the software. Meanwhile, you are able to upgrade to a different software level when a new version is released. We commit that any upgrade is free permanently.

Can I use it with my Mac?

The system only can run in MS Windows OS.

Actually the best service is to make the users totally understand the product initially. Of course if you have questions or new requirements, you have the access to the support email, our initial response time is no more than 4 working hours.

How do I place an order and how long is the lead time?

We need either a formal PO, online acceptance of the quote using the link provided when a quote is requested, an email confirming that you wish to place an order. The system will operate the order within 3 working days from receipt of payment.

What are the payment terms?

Payment is required prior to despatch unless special agreement is in place.

What are the ongoing costs?

There are no compulsory ongoing costs other than replacement batteries.
